BodyKind August is Butterfly’s free annual awareness celebration for schools, homes and sporting/activity clubs encouraging everyone to be kind to their own and all bodies.
Whether you are a teacher, parent, coach or activity leader, access Butterfly’s FREE, flexible and expert-designed BodyKind resources and support young people’s body image this August, and beyond.
BodyKind August encourages everyone to be kinder in the way they move, nourish and nurture their body and in the way they speak about their own and other peoples’ bodies. Here’s how you can get involved:
Register for BodyKind August and your school or club could win a live video stream from Katrina Gorry, Butterfly’s ambassador and professional football player for the Matildas.
Katina will answer your questions, tell your students or teams about life as a Matildas player, and give a shout out to your school or club for Butterfly to share on our social media platforms.
Classroom activities, workshops, digital content, posters and more.
Conversation starters, family activities, videos, tips sheets and audio resources.
Posters, workshops, tips sheets and fundraising ideas
Being kinder to ourselves and our bodies can help support body image and mental health and wellbeing. Help the people in your life be more BodyKind by registering for BodyKind August – it’s fun, flexible and free!
