Join an Event. Make an Impact
Take part in an event and turn your challenge into life-changing support for people impacted by eating disorders and body image concerns.
Not everyone wants to create their own fundraiser. By joining a peer-to-peer community fundraising event, you can be part of something bigger. Whether you’re running, riding, or taking on a personal challenge, every step you take helps more people access the support they need.
Why Join an Event?
*Be part of a community – fundraise alongside like-minded people
*Stay motivated – train with purpose and accountability
*Make real impact – every dollar raised supports Butterfly’s vital services
*No planning required – simply sign up and start fundraising!

2026 ASICS Gold Coast Marathon
Butterfly is grateful for participants’ efforts to raise awareness and funds for people affected by disordered eating and eating disorders. However, we also recognise that exercise challenges can raise complex and sometimes difficult feelings within the eating disorder community, and advise that anyone wishing to participate in an exercise-based fundraiser does so with appropriate medical advice, and with the support of their allied health or broader team where appropriate.
Our focus remains on supporting those impacted by eating disorders and promoting hope and recovery. If you need extra support, we encourage you to connect with the Butterfly National Helpline. Call 1800 ED HOPE (1800 33 4673), or visit www.butterfly.org.au to chat online or email, 7 days a week, 8am-midnight (AEST/AEDT).
