Recovery program | Emerging
Emerging is an eight-week program that encourages and helps you to re-engage with your healthy self.
It looks at positive thinking and feelings about your body and food, provides new inspiration towards wellness and gives you renewed hope for recovery from an eating disorder or body image issue.
It includes topics such as:
- The stages of change
- Intuitive eating
- Relaxation and self-care
- Body image
All sessions are safe, supportive, practical and recovery-focused. Each week in the program, participants will build upon skills developed in prior weeks, creating a strong foundation of internal resources which can be called on at need.
‘Emerging’ is open to any individual 18 years or over who is experiencing an eating disorder and who is motivated to recover. For the safety and well-being of all attendees, we do set some minimum wellness criteria.
