Are you a social media savvy storyteller with a passion for making a real difference? Butterfly Foundation, Australia’s national charity for eating disorders and body image issues, is looking for a creative force to join our team and amplify the voices of those who need to be heard.
The Impact You’ll Make
Every post you craft, every story you tell, and every piece of content you create will help break down stigma and connect people with life-changing support. As our Digital Content Coordinator, you’ll be the digital bridge between hope and help, ensuring our message reaches those who need it most across all our platforms.
What You’ll Do
- Craft compelling social media content that sparks meaningful conversations and engagement across Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
- Design and develop visual content that speaks to our community’s experiences
- Manage and create our website content to ensure it’s accessible, relevant, and supportive
- Listen to and engage with our online community, ensuring they feel heard and supported
- Transform complex mental health information into clear, compassionate digital content
- Track and analyse our digital impact to help us reach more people in need
You’ll Thrive Here If You Have
- A creative mind and passionate heart for digital storytelling
- Experience with social media management and content creation
- Skills in website content management (ideally WordPress)
- Strong writing abilities that can connect with diverse audiences
- Basic graphic design skills (or eagerness to learn)
- Most importantly: empathy and understanding for those affected by eating disorders and body image issues.
- Lived experience of an eating disorder or other mental health condition welcomed.
