As part of the Communications and Engagement team, you will join passionate people who make a difference every day.

You will have an integral role that will improve business decisions and drive continuous improvement within marketing campaigns by supplying clear, accurate and reliable data/insights, allowing Butterfly to grow, reach more people and continue to change lives.

This exciting new role is responsible for developing a supporter journey program for Butterfly, which will include providing analytical insight to drive the development and implementation of data-driven supporter journeys for fundraising.

Additionally, working across multiple systems, the Marketing Analyst will leverage marketing data insights by researching, analysing and driving solutions using CRMs, online data sources and other platforms. This role will suit a strategic thinker who has a high attention to detail which will in turn enhance and elevate Butterfly’s customer journey and marketing processes. The successful individual will also communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and articulate technical issues to non-technical audiences.


Key responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Creating and implementing supporter journey strategies to help maximise fundraising relationships and opportunities to increase revenue for Butterfly.
  • Working with the fundraising team to analyse and interpret data from fundraising database for the purposes of segmenting data for fundraising appeals.
  • Extracting, analysing and creating data for generating marketing insights.
  • Assessing touch points for all marketing contacts across the organisation, and mapping journeys by segment.
  • Providing data driven insights and growth opportunities for marketing audiences; and analysing customer segmentation.
