No matter your size, shape, age, abilities, gender identity, sexuality, cultural or linguistic background, economic status or location, anyone can experience an eating disorder.

Do you know someone at risk?

Approximately 9% of Australians will experience an eating disorder in their lifetime but it’s not possible to tell if a person has an eating disorder simply by their appearance.

Meet Stella, one of Butterfly’s sessional presenters

Say hi to Stella, one of Butterfly’s passionate sessional presenters who delivers our evidence-based eating disorder prevention programs across Australia! We spoke to Stella about the most rewarding and challenging parts of her job, the advice she’d give to young people struggling, and why she thinks supporting young people’s body image & Butterfly’s services should a priority.
