This September support young people’s body image by joining Butterfly’s annual free awareness initiative, Body Kind Movement.

Finding ways to like, accept, love or even feel positive about your body can be challenging but we can all try to be a little kinder.

About Body Kind Movement

Body Kind Movement is one part of Butterfly’s Body Kind annual awareness initiative aimed at creating body positive environments (home, school, sports, online) for young Australians.  Every September, it invites sporting clubs working with young people to promote positive body image and encourages young players and athletes to find ways to be kind to their own body and to others.

What does it mean to be Body Kind?

Who can take part?

Any sporting club can get involved.  Choose to do a little or a lot.  There are lots of activity ideas for use with young people aged 10 years and older.  Some of the general awareness activities can also be used with younger children.

Registrations must be by an adult.

A Body Kind Fundraiser is designed to help raise valuable funds for your sporting group and for Butterfly so that we can continue to support body confidence, Australia-wide.

There are many ways to get involved. How much you raise is not important; shining a light on being Body Kind is.
