    All copies of any posters or advertising and editorials mentioning the Butterfly Foundation must be sent to Butterfly for approval
  • Fundraising Budget

    The event cannot be used for your own direct commercial gain or profit. The event must have the potential for financial success so that neither the organiser or Butterfly is liable for unpaid expenses.

  • e.g. ticket sales, raffles, donations, auctions
  • This is an estimate only. You will not be held liable to cover costs if the net income is not reached

Disclaimer & Fundraising Agreement:

  1. The event organiser accepts the terms and conditions of the Butterfly Foundation Community Fundraising Guidelines.
  2. I agree to conduct my fundraiser/event in accordance with those terms and conditions and in a manner which upholds the integrity, professionalism and values of the Butterfly Foundation.
  3. In particular, I agree that I will not approach any of the existing Butterfly Foundation partners or sponsors listed on the Butterfly Foundation website. I agree that I will approach my own contacts, sponsors, and supporters in the community.
  4. I agree that I will not use the Butterfly Foundation logo on any commercial materials without prior permission and will obtain the Butterfly Foundation approval of any statement regarding the relationship between the fundraising event and the Butterfly Foundation.
  5. I have read and agree to abide by the Butterfly Foundation Community Fundraising Guidelines and to the maximum extent permitted by law, indemnify the Butterfly Foundation, its employees, volunteers and all sponsors from and against all liabilities, claims, damages, suits, expenses, causes of action, injuries, losses or inconvenience of any description whatsoever arising in any way from the fundraiser/event that is the subject of this application.
  6. The Butterfly Foundation reserves the right to withdraw approval for the fundraising activity at any time if it believes any aspect of the proposed fundraising activity no longer fits within the Butterfly Foundation Fundraising Guidelines or for any other reasons.

Funds are required within four weeks of the date of the event.

Please note that fundraisers are not authorised to use the Butterfly Foundation logo without prior approval of the Butterfly Foundation management. Use of the Foundation’s name is subject to the Butterfly Foundation’s approval.

  • Authorised Usage: Art Expression Event with the statement, ‘Proudly supporting the Butterfly Foundation’
  • Unauthorised usage: Naming it as a Butterfly Foundation event or activity is unauthorised e.g. ‘Butterfly Foundation Art Expression Exhibition’ or ‘In partnership with the Butterfly Foundation’.

All applications will be considered and reviewed. Please allow two working weeks for the review process. Every applicant will be notified by email that their application has been received and the outcome of their application.
